To complete my 30 Day Challenge was basically to make time for everything it was that I needed to get done, and still have time for other things without feeling so overwhelmed or stressed. My daughter was my motivation for this, being that I had noticed her reaction with everything I had going on in my life. As a full time mom, a full time student and working a full time job, I felt like I had too much on my plate. So with this challenge I wanted to be able to manage my time wisely, so that I could have room to do other things.

The goal for this challenge was to manage my time better. To make time for the things I did not have time for and still be flexible with everything else going on, but as you all know Typhoon Yutu happened. I lost all the things I had to complete this 30 Day Challenge. I started soon after with photos that could perhaps take the place for most of the photos I had lost in the storm.

Self Reflection
At the beginning of the 30-Day Challenge, I was excited to get started. The thought of being able to organize what I have going on in my everyday life, so that I could have time to spend with my daughter and not be so overwhelmed. She was the reason for my motivation, the reason for me pursuing my education and the reason I do what it is that I do. The things that hurt me the most was when I was getting ready to head out for work one night and she says to me, “Mom, when will you sleep with me?”. I was heartbroken because I knew how much she missed me, and perhaps she had noticed that when I had nothing to do, I was asleep. When I first started this challenge, I spoke to her about the changes that needed to be made, and how truly sorry I was for not making time to be with her. I promised her that from that day forward I would make the time regardless whether I was tired or not. Although the plan was meant to be for 30 Days beginning the 1st of October, Typhoon Yutu happened. I lost most of what I had going, from the pictures I had saved and the day to day Journal I had kept for my progress. Despite all that’s happened I manage to retrieve some photos from Social Media before the storm. From this challenge I believe that it has opened my eyes to see that anyone can make time for anything. Its just a matter of sticking to what we have planned. I have learned how to prioritize what is important in terms of work and school, and as a result I now have the time to be with my little girl. I told myself that from now on, I will continue to move forward with managing my time. It has allowed me to also complete assignments on time without having to rush, and most of all I was also able to get some rests before work.
