Erika Lansang CO210 Fundamentals of Speech
My Evaluation of my Intro.
What did you do well?
- I believe what I did well in my video was having to go on explaining about myself without stopping. I did have a small paper with me that includes what topic I should talk about when I get stuck, that’s the paper that I am able to look at to know what to talk about. I don’t usually take videos that describe me, so I guess this video as a start was slightly good.
- I do have a lot of improvement to make, I do always say “uhm” whenever I talk or speak in front of the class and also I am very shy so I hope that I could improve my weakness in this class. I would also have to improve with my eye contact because during this video I would always look around, and not focus straight at the camera. I did a lot of movement and was not able to focus on standing still.
- I really want to avoid being shy and to be able to talk thoroughly in front of the class
- I would have to practice on my eye contact and to not look around that much, focus on the audience.
- When presenting a speech, I would like to be thorough and to practice getting straight to the point (no distractions in the middle of the speech)
- Memorize certain parts of the subject and be able to present it in front of the class.
Please make comments or suggestions on my introduction speech Thanks!
It was nice hear about all the things you liked. I think it's a good idea to have a piece of paper that can remind you of the next topic, it can really help beginners such as myself. - Amon McGuire
