So it was either Mother Nature was just being a bit crude or I just chose the wrong time to make that video because I was sick, but I tried my best anyway. I made countless, numerous attempts to recreate the video due to lots of background “sound effects” at home, until I finally just got something done and saved it before anymore changes could be made. I tried to make it a bit funny with the images, but I ended up laughing at myself because the video itself looked ridiculous, even if I had good intentions. And it was a good laugh, too. I intentionally spoke slowly so as to try to be as clear as possible despite the flu, plus adding a few seconds to add in the graphics. I hope you’re able to get a good laugh out of this as well. |
Final Reflection:
In the beginning of the semester, the goal I set for myself for this class was to overcome my nervousness when presenting in front of an audience. It worked somewhat, at least for the most part. But I know I still have a longer way to go and I need to keep working on it. I'm glad I had the chance to hear how my peers critiqued my presentations, so I can learn from it and better prepare myself. Despite the emotional display the class wasn't suppose to see, I chose my "This I Believe" speech as my favorite speech out of all the assignments we had, because it related to me personally when I wrote it. It is courses like this that make the college experience fun, and it is instructors like Dr. Kimberly who make the learning more interesting. Over all, I enjoyed this class. Happy Holidays!!! |
