Introduction Speech Video

Reflection:
Before recording my introduction speech video, I thought it would be a piece of cake. Little did I know that I would be recording myself over and over again due to mistakes. I made a few eye contacts to my audience throughout the video, but the video lacked something for me. After recording the video, there was so much more I wanted to talk about.
Goals:
I have so many goals in mind to achieve by the end of the semester after I have finished speech class. I hope I don’t get so nervous to do an oral presentation in class or in public. If I were to do any presentations, I hope I have learned how to be confident and improved my pronunciation skills. My last goal would be to have passion as I talk to get the audience to listen to what I have to say and maybe learn how to add a few jokes here and there so it would not sound boring.

Reflection I
My favorite speech would have to be the monologue. Towards the end of the semester, Dr. Bunts-Anderson has saved the best speech for last. For our final exam we had the option to do a "How to make the world a better place" or a scripted monologue of a play. For my final exam, I was in a group with three other classmates and we did a scene from Mean Girls and it was so much fun. Though we didn't have much time to practice, we got to improvise and go with the flow. We brought props and even did a short Christmas dance.
