Reflection of my introduction video:
I think I did a good job on my introduction video. I didn't feel nervous and I felt comfortable. I didn't like filming it because I recorded myself 20 times before I posted this video. But overall I felt that it was a nice and simple video. |

Favorite speech and why
My favorite speech of the class, probably has to be my demonstration speech. At first, I really thought my favorite speech was my skit speech but, I remembered why my demonstration speech means so much to me. The demonstration speech is my favorite speech because that was the first time that I felt most comfortable and confident while speaking. I enjoy teaching people what I love, and that is teaching how to play the Ukulele. I taught my class how to play the basics of the Ukulele and I even taught them how to sing along with me and I felt so happy. When my speech was over, I realized that I enjoyed the class more. I feel like with the demonstration speech, everyone got to know each other more and we opened up with one another. I then felt even more comfortable to speak in the class and was eager to learn more things in the class to improve my speaking skills.
Class and Goals reflection
I learned I lot of things in this class that I won't ever forget. This class taught me to be a more confident speaker, how to pronounce words better and how to plan and deliver a speech. I loved all the work I did in the class that taught me those things. My favorite assignments were the demonstration speech, the skit/play and the tongue twister competition. Looking back at how I spoke is a big difference from today. On day 1 I was very nervous and not confident while speaking. But now at the end of class and doing multiple assignments I learned how to be confident and not feel as nervous to speak. I think the main thing I need to improve on is my stuttering. Overall, I will miss this class and the friendships that I made. I always had a smile on my face in every class. I am thankful for what I have learned and I will apply it in all my classes that I will take at NMC.
