GOALS to achieve throughout this course:
![Picture](/uploads/1/2/8/5/12854763/editor/pvc-goal-posts.jpg?1567744681)
- to be a confident speaker
- to stutter less
- to improve my public speaking skills
- to improve my speech delivery
- to improve my body language
- to improve eye contact with audience
GOALS achieved during the course:
- I became much more relaxed and confident when speaking in front of my peers during presentations
- I feel as if I have improved my public speaking skills
- I improved my body language, and I feel this way because I used to close up and cover my torso, but now I have my hands and arms out in front of me when I talk
- Being comfortable while maintaining eye contact with the audience from time to time
GOALS that I need to continue to work on and how I plan on working on them
- Stuttering is still something I have a problem with, but it was not as bad as before! I have progressed, and I know that I will slowly get better at containing it. I will get better at it and work on it by practicing. Ways I can do just that is during read aloud sessions or volunteering to read. The impromptu speeches also helped a lot so I plan on making that an exercise for me because my thoughts although planned out and scripted, I have to say things on the fly.
SPEECH RECAP!!
My favorite speech in class was when we had to make a skit! This speech was very spontaneous because even though we had to memorize it, the performance of each individual in our group, and everyone in their respective groups performance was GENUINE! It was evident that everybody enjoyed, and that was truly the highlight of the whole speech assignment
