My goal for 30 days is to be more active and improve my stamina
by jogging for 30 minutes a day, 4 days a week.
I believe this goal will benefit me in the future because it would help
me get used to the routine of jogging a couple of days a week and
overall improve my physical and mental health.

During My Jogging Routine
During my weekly jogging routine, I noticed that I always feel leg strains every other day
and my breathing steadily gets better every time I jogged. I got two of my friends to jog with
me because I wanted them to stop me from stopping myself from doing what I have to do.
Jogging the first few minutes started to get easier and easier since the time my breathing gets
heavy only occurs after the time my stamina runs out. Although the start of my jog becomes easier,
I always find the last 30 minutes of the jog to be the hardest because I always tend to push myself
to beat the previous stamina record that I placed on myself. Every time my friends and I finish a jogging
session, we would feel extremely tired and then a couple of minutes later we get full of energy and
start getting hyper. I find it to be a weird aftermath from jogging, but it is also one of the things I look
forward too when I take that first step foward.

Challenge Results
My goal for my 30 day challenge was met for only a short period of time. I was finally
able to jog for 15 minutes without stopping and was able to catch my breath in 2-3 minutes
to continue my run. I was trying to aim for 20 minutes until typhoon Yutu occurred.
After typhoon Yutu, I was no longer able to jog because I lacked the water I needed to wash
off the sweat from my weekly routine. The island was so affected by the typhoon that the area
I usually jog in was covered with broken glass and tin roofs that flew off from houses. I had no
motivation at all to continue what I have started due to the tragedy that had transpired. Weeks
went on and I have noticed that I am starting to slowly lose the stamina that I have built up due
to the can foods I ate and some meals I have skipped. Although reaching my goal was short lived,
I plan to resume my weekly routine after I survive the workload that my accelerated classes have
to offer.
