Nestor's Page
Good evening Dr. Kimberly Bunts Anderson and good evening classmates. My name is Nestor T. Tumaquip I lived at At kiya Street, San Vicente Village. I lived in Saipan for almost half of my life. I came here on 1989 as an Overseas Filipino Workers as Bookkeeper at International Insurance Agency. After 2 years and 3 months, I decided to quit my job and to run our small business that survived for 25 years. I opened up different kinds of business from a construction company, trash services, lawn care, farming, piggery, accounting services and catering services. I brought here 17 members of my families to help them to have a better future in life because we belong to poor families in the Philippines.
We have four children that were grew here in Saipan , they are all now have a better jobs, my eldest son Josemary is presently working at U.S Army as Human Resources in North Caroline, Maria Joannes Tumaquip Vinluan, she is a teacher at
Garapan Elementary School, Joshua Mary Tumaquip is a U.S Military Police in Hawaii, and my youngest son Jomar Tumaquip is a U.S Marine assigned in California.
Presently I am working at Public School System as Food Monitors for public and private schools while my beautiful and hardworking wife is working at Hyatt Regency Saipan as Kommi Chef. We are both a Jehovah Witnesses since 1999 and 2000 respectively where we find the truth here in Saipan. Our families are blessed with materials and spiritual things.
My present ultimate goal is to finish my AA emphasis on Education in order to become a future teacher and try to help children whatever are their nationality, culture, beliefs, and status in life or age.

Reflection and goals
My present ultimate goal is to finish my AA emphasis on Education in order to become a future teacher and try to help children whatever are their nationality, culture, beliefs, and status in life or age. After I watch my video, I need to improve more such as the proper pronounce of words, I also need to look at the audience or camera and memorize my speech.
Northern Marianas College semester is almost done, there are a lot of things that being going on from this fall semester specially in my CO210 Fundamental Speech. I have a lot of goal in my mind about this subject such as 1). How to become a good speaker 2).How to create or write a good speech 3). How to get a good grade from this course 4). To finish my AA course and become a future elementary Education Teacher.
My goals seems so easy in words but very hard in a real life because as full time student and part time employee really gave me a headache, stress and very tiring. However what I am going to do is to finish what I have started. I need to do and use everything to pass this course. I make a proper schedule, I seek the help of the tutoring department, and ask helps from my close classmates and my caring professor Dr. Kimberly Anderson. Up to date, things are getting better because of the outside help and extra work that I did but most of all is through prayer to our God Jehovah. Thank you to everyone who help me specially to our Professor Dr. Kimberly Anderson, without your help and assistance I am still struggling in the class specially the proper pronunciation.
