My reflection on my speech
To become a good public speaking there are a few areas in which i need to improve to make it suitable. Public speaking is one of my weakness and I would like to transform it into one of my strength. During my 2 to 3 minute speeches, I found that in order to do this I need to improve my ability to perform long speeches without hesitation such as maintaining eye contact all the time, focusing on my topic and by being confident and trying to avoid stuttering.
My demonstrative speech is significant is significant to me because I saw my improvement in public speaking and I overcome my nervousness speaking in front of people. After my demonstration speech, I practiced saying tongue twisters to improve my diction in english. Practicing that has helped me become confident because I learned how to pronounce words correctly. To overcome my nervousness, I spoke in front of my family I read my speeches in front of them and asked them for feedback about my speech and how I carry myself while talking. Their constructive criticism has helped me notice my mistakes and I aimed to correct that to improve.
