CO210 Introduction Video
My Evaluation of my Intro:I had to take multiple videos over and over again because I kept messing up. I also stuttered in some parts, so I believed that is something I really need to work on. I still get nervous even if I'm just recording myself with no one else in the room. I also notice that I have to pause for a minute to think of the right words to say. My voice changes quickly, at one point I'll be loud and then later I'll speak softer.
My Goals:Just like I said in the introduction video. I want to improve on my stage fright. Despite being able to speak in front of 5 to 10 people, I want to be able to speak in front of a huge crowd without getting really nervous. I also want to be able to not stuttered while talking because once I stutter, I tend to forget what to say next. Once I forget what to say next, I don't try to speak anymore. I hope this class will help me improve on all of that, I look forward to coming to class to become a better speaker.

Favorite Speech of the Course: Skit Speech Assignment
The Speech Skit Assignment was my favorite speech of the course because I've always enjoyed acting and filming. With the help of Alyssa, Jaydine, and Kiana- we were able to be comfortable with each other. Being able to get out of the comfort zone together was amazing. We were able to to get the speech done and get into our right characters.

Goals I've Achieved During the Course |
What I Need To Work On |
The goals I've reached during the course is that I was able to do an impromptu speech that is timed. I usually get anxious with impromptu speeches, and I always ended up feeling that 1 minute speeches are too short. Now I just remember that I just need to gather the important information, be confident, and then relax as I say my impromptu speech. As I do those, it doesn't freak me out that I won't be able to reach over the limit.
What I still need to work on is my nervousness and being able to not run out of words during a presentation. I still tend to look at my notes during a presentation and I want to get rid of that habit. I want to be able to remember what to say next and let it naturally come without overthinking on what to say next.
