Initial Reflection:
My speech was informal and casual as if I am chatting with a friend. I would say the clarity of my voice is alright as well as my confidence. But one thing I need to get rid of is long pauses in my speech and my stuttering. I also need to work on maintaining eye contact.
Goals:
At the end of the semester I hope to improve on:
-the projection of my voice
-eye contact
-confidence
-speech comprehension
-volume and tone of my voice
-memorization. I

Community Issues Speech:
Here, my partner and I will be discussing the issue about education funding in the CNMI. |
Final Reflection:
At the beginning of the class, I was a bit intimidated because it was only a few of us in the class which means Mrs. Bunts can be hard on us. But with that, I learned how to be open and comfortable with those around me, accepting any constructive criticism they have to offer. In the beginning, I was a bit shy to even introduce myself. I had trouble with the volume of my voice and every the enunciation of certain sentences., but as time went on, I learned the simple and important concepts of speech that will help me with any future situations whether it be at an interview, or in front of my bosses. I've learned how to stay confident and share my thoughts with the crowd. I've learned to the techniques that speakers use and what to avoid.
