Self-evaluation/goals:I noticed that I rambled when I wasn't sure what to say-- I did not have direct eye contact as well. I think this introduction could be better, but I like it cause I just spoke straight from the top of my head and the outcome was not as bad as I expected. I hope to improve my eye contact, ramble less, speak louder and more clearly, and to get over my stage fright. By the end of this semester, I hope to become more comfortable with speaking in front of others, and to stop being so afraid of attention and new audiences.

Please feel free to make comments or suggestions on my introduction speech, it would really help. Thanks!
My Favorite Speech

My favorite speech would have to be the This I Believe Speech. This was my favorite speech because it was nice to share with my classmates a belief of mine and to hear positive comments on it. I also enjoyed that I got to hear my classmates beliefs in return. I enjoyed it the most because I felt accepted while doing my speech; everyone was tied into my speech. I also found that it was an easy to accomplish.

Improvements
Looking back at my course goals, I believe that I did improve a bit. I am more comfortable with speaking in front of my classmates, mostly because we have all created a bond. Rambling and speaking too low were other problems I found myself doing while speaking in front of a crowd. I believe I did improve on that, for I do not find it nerve-wracking speaking in front of the class. As for eye-contact, I do not think I improved in that. I will continue to improve my eye contact by volunteering more often in other class to speak. I think that by this, I will get more comfortable with speaking in front of a crowd. I think I can improve more on my stage fright by doing this so that overtime, crowds will not faze me. Another way I could improve my stage fright is by volunteering to read during masses on Sundays.
