My Evaluation of my Intro:
After lots of trial and error I still cant manage to hold a smile, or keep an even, consistent tone when I speak. My thoughts sound improvised and incomplete, and I feel like the camera angle is to low. I look kind of panic-y and I really hope to improve on that. I hope to fix all these issues I have with myself. I apologize for my lack of facial expressions, when I get nervous I hide behind a shell.
Reflection for my Favorite Speech!!
This is my demonstration speech, in it I explain three basic stances for swordplay. This was my favorite because I am a huge geek and I also like to be physically active, and this hobby of mine combined both of those! I have always liked the idea of swordplay, I used to play different types of warriors and try to be them. This practice became my current favorite workout, practicing swordplay! I know not everyone will have any interest in these things or honestly care, but to those who have some interest, here's a really basic video to get anyone started. I don't go to into detail but if you really want to continue then research and read up.
End of the Semester Reflection
This has been a really fun and stressful semester in this class, not gonna lie. I had to do the one thing I couldn't stand doing, giving speeches. At first, I was so nervous and it so apparent to my entire class, it was horribly embarrassing. Part of my goal in the beginning was to be able to have better body language and convey my ideas more clearly, now that I'm the end I can honestly say I haven't met my goals all the way. Although, I have gotten much closer, which is good enough for me. The only other goal I need to achieve right now is passing this class.
