Reflection
A self introduction video sounded so easy at first, as to what I thought it would be. Yes it was simple to do, but it took practice to get the perfect shot and the right angle. I personally dislike talking about myself so filming in front of the camera had me dreading this assignment.
During the process of this video, I mentioned the basic information of getting to know who I am. I stated my age, birthday, birthplace, and what I am pursuing. I told the audience that I want to become a Forensic Nurse and get my Bachelor’s Degree at University Hilo, Hawaii. I stressed off on my favorite food and hobbies that I enjoy. All of these sounded like a natural thing to say in a daily/sudden conversation, to me this was different and more of a challenge. I saw myself being quite hesitant with some of the words I wanted to say, even though there was no crowd in front of me.
Ending my video, I shared my goals for this course. My goal is to educate myself in becoming more outspoken in public, being able to reach out to anyone as much as possible and engage them while I’m at it, enunciate/elaborate on words I never thought of. I want to build the confidence that tells me I am a better person on my own skills today. After all, I had fun creating this video as I explored an editing software I am new to. There’s always time for improvement, I do hope the best gets out of us by the end of this journey!
