Evaluation of my Intro and Goals
In my introduction video, I looked like a person who hated what he was doing in the video like I was a person who was doing it for a grade that was required for the class. In reality, it may look like that but I was just being my natural self, boring. That is one major thing I would like to change, my monotonous voice I admitted to in the video. Monotonous can be a tone in speech to elicit some scary or creepy tone but that’s not really going to happen in reality when it comes to public speaking. Speeches should have fluxes and tone. These techniques can grab attention, bring emphasis, and elicit emotion from the audience.
Another characteristic I know I need to improve on is using proper body language and hand gestures. When I was sitting down I can see myself rocking the chair side to side. And I sat like a stick. I looked pretty concert and not in language. I need to look a bit more relaxed and comfortable. They audience can sense or assume fear. Another bad thing is that I can see myself looking at the corner or at the edge of my eye glasses rummaging my thoughts on what to add on to the intro.
Another aspect of my speaking abilities is I would like to tackle is my organization. I felt like my ideas are just so random. There was no overall theme to this introduction. They ideas just came and go. It was also a bit repetitive. I do not know what to say other than I am disappointed in myself since that is basic things we learned in EN101.
My goals for this glass is simply to improve on the qualities that I lacked on the video (mentioned in this reflection). Also there are also other qualities I would like to improve and the one I really want to bring out is creativity and innovation. Like I want my speeches interactive and different. I really want to highlight uniqueness.

What should I improve on first?
