My Evaluation of my Intro:
If I'm being honest here I feel like I could've done better. I tried to make it more fun with my editing, but I don't think my interest was there. I noticed how much I mumble and I think I need to work on that along with my eye contact and tone.
My Favorite Speech
I think among all our speeches, my favorite would be the demonstration speech. I felt that I was able to keep myself composed and collected during that speech and because of that my topic felt much more interesting. I also enjoyed that I could shared a hobby of mine and had people participating as I was presenting. I also felt that it was important that despite it being a project of ours, I was able to lighten up the mood by doing something a little silly. So considering everything the demonstration speech was my favorite.
My Refection
For the most part I wasn't really looking forward to a class dedicated to speaking in front of others, but overtime I guess I've come to terms with it. I guess what I'me proudest of is that I was able to fulfill all my goals for this semester (for this class specifically). In my intro I was able to introduce who I was and what I was passionate about and in my demonstrative speech I could be more loose and just be me while talking about what I do in my free time. I feel like Iv'e gained some confidence in my speech and because of that I believe I am more convincing, although I do know that I get nervous at times I acknowledge that there will be some good and bad days... There was even some practices on how to improve our pronunciation, intonation, volume, and breathing, which I felt greatly improved my timing and was the thing I needed to give my speeches more impact. I'm grateful that this class is over and I appreciate that I have seen improvement with my presentations in other classes, so definitely fulfilled all my goals here!
