Goals
A goal that I have for this course are to be more comfortable with public speaking. I can normally read well in front of crowds. However, that is only reading. I would like to be able to present my own thoughts and ideas without much reading involved. I want to be confident in what I am saying and make it look like I have practiced and know all about my topic. |

Reflection
I think that during this course I did indeed learn how t trust myself with presenting. I feel like the texbook lectures actually really helped me understand what it takes to be a good speaker. I learned that I am not just giving information, I am delivering it in a way that people can easily comprehend and remember what I say. Overall, this course was enjoyable for me. One thing I learned about myself is that I am pretty good at impromptu speeches. Before, I used to be afraid of doing an impromptu because I would be stuck on what I would say. However, throughout this course, I realized impromptu was not as difficult as I thought it would be. In the future, I can still improve on my body movements, keeping eye-contact with my audience, and practice practice practice so that I sound like a pro. |
