FAVORITE SPEECH AND FINAL REFLECTION
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SPEECH?
My favorite speech in this course was the demonstrative speech. The demonstrative speech is a speech where you are basically going to teach the class something that you are skilled at and how you will test it. This speech is my favorite because I had so much fun teaching my classmates how to make paper snowflakes. At first, I was thinking about teaching them how to manage their time wisely in college or how to start a bullet journal, but I choose to make paper snowflakes instead because I wanted to choose something I can do step-by-step. Another reason why I chose this is because this is one thing I like to do during my free time.

FINAL REFLECTION
As mentioned in my first reflection, my goals for this class is to be able to talk in front of the class without pausing, maintain eye contact as I speak, make my voice clear, and gain confidence in myself while speaking. So far, the goals that I achieved are making my voice clear and maintaining eye contact. However, I haven't gained confidence in myself while speaking.
From the start, my voice was too soft that my audience couldn't hear it. When we did the "This I Believe" speech, I felt like I was starting to improve because I practiced with a tutor and they gave me advice on speaking loud enough so my audience can hear me. In regards to eye contact, at first, I tend to look down when I am speaking, which is one thing I needed to change. When we did the impromptu speech on Typhoon Yutu as a class, I felt like I was improving with maintaining my eye contact. However, the problem is I'm still lacking confidence in myself while speaking. I can help myself gain more confidence in speaking by practicing because practice makes perfect.
